I Don’t Have a Smart TV

You can turn your TV into a Smart TV by connecting an external device if it doesn’t have built-in internet connection (such as the first LED TVs).

WindowSight is available for all TVs that run with Android TV or Apple TV as external devices. 

Make sure your TV provides a good quality of display, and acquire an external device that works with Android TV or tvOS  to connect your TV to the internet and install the app. 1.4 or superior HDMI cables are recommended.

Quality of display is determined by the device’s technology and resolution. For instance, if you are using a 4K TV with a FullHD external device, the content will stream in the external device’s resolution, FullHD.
