WINDOWSIGHT, as the controller of the processing, guarantees an adequate and consistent standard of protection of natural persons concerning their personal data that is subject to processing by the company, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679).

 

WINDOWSIGHT only processes personal data responsibly and diligently, and in accordance with the lawful basis that enables the processing. The purpose of data processing and retention

WINDOWSIGHT shall process your personal data in order to:

  • Respond to your questions or requests for information. Article 6.1.a) GDPR 2016/679.
  • Register you in our platform and manage your user account. Article 6.1.b) GDPR 2016/679.
  • To send you commercial communications about our products or services.Article 6.1.f) GDPR 2016/679.
 

Once the purpose for which your data has been collected has been fulfilled, they shall be destroyed and only the data required to deal with complaints or to comply with applicable legislation shall be retained.

International data transfers

In order to offer you our services, WINDOWSIGHT contracts resources that carry out international data transfers to third countries outside the European Union. These countries have an adequate level of data protection as declared by the European Commission and also provide adequate guarantees.

WINDOWSIGHT does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Data protection rights

As Users of our website, you shall be entitled to:

  • Access, rectify, object, or request the erasure of their data, whenever they consider that they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and data portability.
  • Restriction of processing: in this case we shall only retain the data that is strictly required to deal with complaints.

Bright Data Network Disclosure

On certain TV platforms where WindowSight has integrated this functionality, users may choose to participate in the Bright Data network in return for free access to WindowSight. Participation is entirely voluntary.

When a user chooses to participate, certain network resources (such as bandwidth) may be shared through the Bright Data SDK. This involves the processing of network-related data by Bright Data Ltd., which acts as an independent data controller for such processing. WindowSight is not responsible for Bright Data’s data processing practices.

Users may opt out at any time through the TV app at Settings > Account > Web Indexing, where this option is available.
