You can customize your display experience by going to Settings – Display Options, on your TV app, or through the Player on the mobile app.
Some display settings on WindowSight depend on your membership plan. This helps us offer a powerful free experience while keeping advanced controls for members who directly support artists.
Below you’ll find a clear explanation of what each plan includes, specifically for Display Options.
Artwork Change Interval (by Membership)
This setting controls how long each artwork stays on screen before changing automatically.
- Member (Free) – Available range: 1 minute – 30 minutes
- Supporter – Available range: 1 minute – 4 hours
- Supporter Plus and Business – Available range: 10 seconds – Static (Never)
Note: Video artworks always play for a minimum of 2 minutes, regardless of membership if the selected interval is less than 2 minutes.

Background Color (Frame Color)
When an artwork doesn’t fill the screen (not 16:9), WindowSight adds a background so it displays cleanly.
Member and Supporter accounts have some basic backgrounds, Supporter Plus gets access to all background colors.
Option to apply background to:
- All artworks
- Only non-fullscreen artworks
- Smart Frame: adds a background to all artworks only when your selection mixes fullscreen and non-fullscreen artworks.

Shuffle Artworks
Controls whether artworks always play in random order.
- Available to all memberships
- When enabled, artworks never follow a fixed sequence
- Applies across galleries, playlists, and showcases

Display Artwork Titles & Artist Names
Choose how artwork information appears on screen:
- On change – shown briefly (6 seconds) when artwork changes
- Always – always visible
- Never – hidden for a clean, museum-like experience. Only available with a Supporter plan as displaying the name of the author ensures that the artist is acknowledged for their work once displayed for free.
