When you press Play on the TV app or the mobile app, a request is sent to our servers, which then streams the selected artwork directly to the TV you’re using. The content is delivered in TV-optimized quality, which is why the visual quality on your TV may differ from what you see on your phone.
You can use WindowSight directly from your TV, without needing the mobile app. The TV app allows you to browse art, manage your library, and control playback independently.
The mobile app remains optional and can be used to explore content and remotely control one or multiple TVs linked to your account.
An internet connection is required on your TV (or external TV device) to stream content.
