The New WindowSight TV App: A New Era for Art on Screen
- News
- Art & Technology
After eight years of building a platform to bring art and photography into people’s homes, we’re thrilled to introduce the next major leap for WindowSight — the launch of our new TV app, built from the ground up to elevate how art is experienced in everyday life.
This is more than a product release. It’s a significant transformation in how WindowSight works — both in how you use it and what it offers.

From Companion App to TV-First Experience
Until now, Windowsight has been powered mainly by our mobile app. While TVs served as the display, the mobile was the brain — controlling playlists, navigation, and interactions.
That changes today.
With WindowSight 3.0, the entire platform now lives on your TV. Discover artists, explore collections, read about the creators, see artwork details while they’re on display, and fully personalize your experience — directly from your remote control.
While some advanced features like playlist creation and search will remain exclusive to the mobile app (especially useful for managing content across multiple TVs), the shift is clear: your screen is no longer just a display — it’s the destination.

A Platform Shaped by the People Who Use It
These changes didn’t come from guesswork. They are the result of years of user feedback, observation, and real video call interviews with members and artist community from around the world who’ve been streaming from their homes, offices, and public spaces.
We’ve listened to what people love, what they miss, and how they actually use WindowSight, to redesign the experience. Everything about this launch reflects that commitment to co-building a product that truly fits people’s lives.

Introducing the New Membership Plans
Along with the product upgrade, we’re also unveiling a new membership structure designed around clarity, fairness, and purpose.
We no longer call anyone a “free user.” Everyone who joins WindowSight is a Member of the community; which, of course, is still free. From there, members can choose to become Supporters or Supporter Plus (no longer Basic or Premium users),which helps fund artists directly and unlocks additional features.
This change reflects what we believe: WindowSight is not just another subscription — it’s a cultural movement built around fair value, meaningful access, and the freedom to choose.

“We’ve redefined what it means to use WindowSight. From naming to navigation, everything now reflects what we stand for — accessibility, community, and creativity.”
— Pol Rosset, CEO & Co-Founder of WindowSight
And Now, The First Step Toward Millions of Screen
This app launch isn’t happening in isolation. It marks the first step in a broader rollout across the TV industry.
Starting now, WindowSight is available on the Play Store for Android and Google TVs. In the coming months, it will expand to all major platforms, including Samsung, LG, Vizio, and others.
But here’s the real breakthrough:
WindowSight will soon be integrated as the default art solution on several leading TV brands. Pre-installed. Ready to use. On millions of screens.
These partnerships will make access seamless — turning WindowSight into an organic part of the TV experience in homes across the world.
Each integration will be announced in due course, but the direction is clear: 2026 is the year WindowSight becomes a native part of the screen.
